There are antioxidants and other substances which can protect heart and blood vessels. It is very effective for genital warts. The caffeine contents of green tea can increase mental alertness. It is also very effective for preventing dizziness.
Green tea is used for preventing bladder, pancreatic cancers, and esophageal. The risks of Parkinson’s disease are reduced with high levels of fat in the blood. Green tea is very good people in reducing blood pressure. It is ineffective for preventing colon cancer. There is interaction of cocaine and ephedrine with green tea. These drugs speed up the nervous system. There can be too much stimulation if you take ephedrine with caffeine which can cause serious side effects and heart problems. You should not take products of caffeine and ephedrine at the same time.
There can be different doses of green tea used but normally it is between 1-10 cups daily. The common dose of green tea in Asian countries is 3 cusp per day which can provide 240-320 mg of active ingredients polyphenols. One tea spoon of tea leaves with 8 ounces boiling water should be used to make green tea. There should be use of 250 mg of caffeine per day or about 3 cups of green tea if you have headache or restoring mental alertness. 60 mg of caffeine or one cup daily is very good for improving thinking.
You should drink 10 or more cups daily for reducing cholesterol. 200 mg of green tea for 8 to 12 weeks can be used for human papilloma virus.
For preventing Parkinson’s disease:
There can be very low risks of Parkinson’s disease if you consume 421-2716 mg of caffeine or 5 to 33 cups of green tea. It is good for women to use moderate amount of green tea about 1 to 4 cups daily.
